This 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery is designed for current E-BikeKit and ElectricTrike.com 48V systems using the latest 5-pin locking battery connection. The 21700-cell construction provides approximately 720Wh of energy in a compact, removable downtube-style case.

The battery slides into a four-blade contact cradle and locks securely into place with the supplied key. Four blade contacts on the underside of the battery mate with four electrical contacts in the cradle to provide the battery-to-system power connection.

The side-release design makes battery removal simple for charging, storage, transportation, or replacement.

Replacement Compatibility: If you are replacing an existing battery, confirm both the battery-to-cradle contact style and the controller-side connector. This current battery uses a four-blade cradle and a 5-pin twist-lock controller connection. Older systems may use a different cradle or controller connection.

Battery Cradle & Connection

The current 48V 15Ah battery uses a four-blade contact cradle. Four blade contacts located on the underside of the battery connect directly with four mating electrical contacts in the cradle when the battery is installed.
